Preparation

12 g tea leaves (6 level Tealamass) to 1 liter of filtered, boiling water. Allow to brew 5 min. To be enjoyed unsweetened or by adding a Kluntje sugar piece and a small spoon of cream per cup.

Dieser Tee trifft nicht unseren Geschmack, weil er zu bitter und zu adstringierend ist. Der Begriff 'malty' suggeriert etwas anderes. Wir trinken schon jahrelang einen Assam mit Milch zum Frühstück. Ich habe den Tee immer beim einem Händler (nein keine Namen) besorgt, der nur zwei Sorten hat und den Tee direkt vermarktet. Seit dem Inhaberwechsel wird die Qualität des Tees immer schlechter, deshalb bin ich auf der Suche nach einem bezahlbaren Ersatz. Ich werde mich mal durch die Assams von Gschwendner durch testen.

Ich trinke diesen Tee und seinen Vorgänger seit Jahren. Letztendlich haben mich Alternativen - es gibt auch andere Tees - nie in vergleichbarer Weise überzeugen können, so dass ich immer dabei geblieben bzw. hierhin zurückgekehrt bin.
